Ginger extract powder is made from Zingiber officinale specie. It has a natural ginger fragrance with a yellow powder, soluble in water. It consists of many important substances such as vitamin C, flavonoid, phenol compounds (gingerdiol, gingerol, gingerdione and shogaols), especially gingerol which is an important biological substance. Ginger also contain various minerals such as iron, magnesium, calcium and others.

Ginger extract process flow

1. Clean and crush fresh ginger;

2. Filter and remove ginger residue to produce ginger juice;

3. Separate the starch in ginger juice to obtain ginger starch and starch free ginger juice;

4. Add an extraction oil agent to the starchy ginger juice, seal it, mix it, and heat it for extraction: the extraction oil agent is plant oil, and the extraction time is based on the clear division of the extraction liquid into a mixed liquid layer of ginger oil and gingerol, a mixed liquid layer of amino acids and vitamins, and a mixed liquid layer of trace elements;

5. Extract and separate the layered ginger oil and gingerol mixture layer, amino acid and vitamin mixture layer, and trace element mixture layer, and load them into dedicated tanks respectively;

6. Separation of ginger oil and gingerol: After the mixture of ginger oil and gingerol is separately packed into a sealed special tank, ginger oil is extracted by pressing, and gingerol is separated. The separated gingerol is washed with purified water to remove the remaining ginger oil and amino acids in the gingerol;

7. Preparation of gingerol powder: The separated gingerol is dried into powder by low-temperature vacuum drying.
